Susan Kalinich serves as the administrative assistant to the dean for Brock School of Business. She came to Samford in 2010 where she served as a program assistant for six years in the School of Education under Dr. Kristie Chandler (human development/family science) and Professor Jeannie Krumdieck (Department of Interior Architecture).
In 2016 she moved to the Academic Affairs Department where she was the assistant to Dr. Tom Woolley, senior associate provost, for two years. She then moved to the Provost’s Office where she was the executive assistant to Dr. Mike Hardin, provost, for six years. Kalinich retired in 2024 but recently returned to work. She lives locally with her husband Ken and they are actively involved in The Church at Ross Bridge.
